Steven Mank graduated from Washburn University School of
Law in 1985. He was a Sedgwick County Defender from
1986 until 1988. He then began private practice with Bush,
Johnson and also maintained a position as a public defender
for the City of Wichita until 1996.
Mr. Mank is a graduate of the National Criminal Defense
College in Macon, Georgia. He has been a member of the
Wichita and Kansas Bar Association and the Kansas and
National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers for over
20 years.
Mr. Mank’s practice consists of representing people charged with crimes from traffic matters to homicide in Municipal, State, and Federal Courts. He has successfully argued before the Kansas Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. Having obtained favorable results for citizens accused of various crimes, Mr. Mank has also earned the respect of law enforcement personnel that turn to Steve for representation. He has represented citizens throughout the State of Kansas.
Mr. Mank has lectured on the subject of juvenile law and the recent changes in the juvenile justice system and has developed a practice in that area representing juvenile offenders in all matters.
