Stephen received his first taste of criminal litigation as a

prosecuting attorney with the City of Wichita following his

graduation from the University of Kansas School of Law in

1990. Since completing his tenure as a prosecutor, he has

devoted his career to defending the accused.

After leaving the prosecutor’s office, Mr. Ariagno entered

private practice and completed advanced training at the

prestigious National Criminal Defense College in Macon,

Georgia.

Mr. Ariagno’s successes include cases involving homicide,

rape, battery, drive-by shootings, narcotics, and DUI. In addition to his skilled advocacy of his clients in the Municipal, State, and Federal Courts, Mr. Ariagno is a respected member of the legal community.

Mr. Ariagno has served as President of the Wichita Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Association, President of the Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and President of the Wichita Bar Association. He is a Life Member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He currently serves on numerous committees for the Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Wichita Bar Association. Mr. Ariagno has been a lecturer at seminars presented by the Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Wichita Bar Association, and Kansas Bar Association.

Mr. Ariagno is licensed to practice law in both Kansas and Missouri.
